Staying at this hotel was quite pleasant, with a lovely room featuring a four-poster bed, though the lack of internal access to the pub was a minor inconvenience. The food was excellent, and the friendly staff contributed to a welcoming atmosphere, despite a brief misunderstanding about the bar hours.

Immaculate decor, separate entrance to accommodations, fresh flowers in toilets
Room temperature a bit chilly!!! Basic lighting falls short for ambiance!!! Access via stairs only might deter some guests!!!

Couples looking for comfort
Our stay was surprisingly pleasant – the room was massive, like a small apartment, and had this glorious four-poster bed that made me feel like royalty. Plus, the bathroom was spotless and had a fantastic shower that just washed the stress away.
It wasn't exactly budget friendly, but considering the comfort and service, it felt acceptable.

Clean room with fluffy towels and a great view over the river. The food fell a bit flat for a gastro pub. Plenty of parking available. Enjoyed a friendly pub environment with darts. a solid choice for a short stay.

The Corbet Arms serves up some real culinary delights, with a lovely view over the garden as the sun sets. The room was extremely comfortable and the real soap? A proper touch! Perfect for pampering yourself after a day exploring Uffington.
While the food menu had the classic pub options, some meals could've used a bit more sparkle. We felt the value for money was decent but not outstanding at £100 a night.
